About Renée

Renée Varble is a dynamic and passionate math educator, creator of the Math By Interest, an innovative approach that empowers learners to understand and enjoy math by aligning instruction with their unique interests. With a degree in elementary education focused on math and science, Renée spent over a decade teaching in public schools before transitioning to homeschool education in 2013. Since then, she has reached learners from 36 countries across six continents, making math accessible to learners of all backgrounds and abilities.
 
Renée's 23 years of experience combine personalized, mastery-based instruction with a deep understanding of how learners acquire and process knowledge best. Through a unique blend of engaging small group sessions and one-on-one guidance, her approach supports each learner’s journey from math anxiety to math confidence. Her goal is to help learners become authors of their own math journey, equipping them with essential problem-solving skills for everyday life. Renée’s dedication, infectious enthusiasm, and out-of-the-box methods have made her a sought-after speaker and mentor in the homeschooling and education communities.
